The weather kept us on our toes for this session. It nearly got postponed, but we took a risk and headed up to the Santiam Canyon just before sunrise, despite looming storm clouds overhead. The sun never made an appearance, but the rain held off long enough to make some stunning moody portraits with Detroit Lake in the background. And there was even a hint of fall color.
