Liz & Jacob's Silcox Hut wedding at Timberline Lodge was cozy and romantic, with a wood burning fire filling the stone lodge with warmth and ambiance. A snowy Mt. Hood hid behind a thick curtain of clouds as the couple and their guests arrived on the mountain via snowcat. Inside the hut, white lights were hung from the massive wood beams and colorful floral arrangements adorned the rustic tables with hefty benches. Guests mingled with cocktails in hand while enjoying live music.
Weddings at Silcox Hut are always an adventure. It's one of my favorite Pacific Northwest venues. On a clear day, the views are spectacular. If the weather doesn't cooperate you can still capture snowy, windswept portraits with the lodge (or snowcat) in the background, and window light portraits inside near the fireplace.
If you're looking for a unique, intimate wedding venue, this is it!
