This frost covered meadow at Silver Falls State Park made the perfect backdrop for this winter portrait shoot with Lauren and her horse, Sunday. Originally, we were hoping to find some snow for this session, but Oregon weather can be fickle.

Soft early morning light paired with this foggy, icy wonderland turned out to be better than our original plan. I loved Lauren's elegant, full-length gown and fur coat (which was her grandmother's).
